FlexShape Solar Predictor

FlexShape Solar Predictor is a Web-based tool for predicting photo-voltaic (PV) supply with minimal user configuration. Essentially, the user only needs to specify a nominal PV installation power and pick a location on a map (or provide LAT/LONG coordinates) and then the predictor will start predicting PV production for the next 5 days in real-time (see Figure).

The predictions are automatically updated every hour. In case of prediction errors, the user can interactively correct values in the Web-based GUI. The system thus automatically updates predictions and learns the PV installation specifics though this iterative process.
For predictions, this tool integrates with external weather data service (Open Weather Map) and can also use live data from the actual PV installation.
