FlexShape was founded by two leading experts in flexible energy, who are the main inventors of the FlexOffer concept and technologies.
Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ph.D.
Laurynas Šikšnys was a postdoc at the Department of Computer Science at Aalborg University, Denmark.
He received a BS degree in Informatics from Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania, in 2007; and a
MSc degree in Computer Engineering from Aalborg University in 2009.
He received a joint PhD degree in Computer Science from Aalborg University and Technische Universität Dresden in 2014.
His research interests include energy data management, energy data management architectures, optimization,
prescriptive analytics, and cyber-physical systems.
He is involved in many Danish and EU projects, where he worked on designing and developing solutions for flexibility management,
predictive and prescriptive analytics, and model predictive control. He has published a number of papers in
related fields. He received a Best Paper Award from the ACM E-Energy 2017 conference.
Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer (CSO), Professor in Big Data Analytics, Ph.D.
Torben Bach Pedersen is full professor of computer science at Aalborg University, Denmark.
He has published more than 280 peer-reviewed papers on Big Data Analytics.
His work has received more than 6400 citations on Google Scholar, yielding an h-index of 44.
He is an ACM Distinguished Scientist, a Senior Member of the IEEE, and Member of the Danish Academy of Technical Sciences.
He has worked on energy data management since 2007; in the MIRABEL, Totalflex, Arrowhead, DiCyPS, GOFLEX, and Flexible Energy Denmark projects with major grants from EU FP7 and Horizon2020 as well as Danish agencies.
He received Best Poster/Paper Awards at the World Smart Grid Forum 2013 and ACM e-Energy 2017 for his work on energy flexibility using FlexOffers.
Marius Blaževičius

Marius Blaževičius is a software developer specialising in full-stack software development, data analysis.

He received BSc and MSc degrees in Software Engineering from Vilnius University in 2018 and 2020.

Jonas Brusokas is a software developer specialising in full-stack software development, data analysis, and machine learning.
He has experience in predictive model development in the energy and medical data domains, as well as commercial software system design, development, testing, and maintenance.
He received BSc and MSc degrees with top honors in Software engineering from Vilnius University in 2018 and 2020.

Ida Thoft Christiansen has a Bachelor in Software engineering from Aalborg University from 2021. She is currently pursuing a Master's in the same field of study.

Rikke Hagensby Jensen is an assistant professor at Aalborg University, focusing on interaction design and user experience (UX) for green energy applications.
She received a Ph.D. in computer science from Aalborg University. She is an external advisor to FlexShape on UX issues.
